About Me

Student · Builder · Designer

I’m a hands-on creator with deep knowledge in arts, physics and software development. I like understanding how things work — from tangible mechanisms to the unseen world of computer science — and then building something better out of what I’ve learnt. My foundations are in coding with Python and C++, and my strengths in photography, music and visual design shape how I approach the things I make.

Right now I’m Head of Research and Development at Project Hear Me Out! — a youth mental-wellness initiative founded in July 2026 with fellow students from Nan Hua High School, using music to help students cope with academic stress. I lead the research work behind our programmes and I designed, built and maintain the project’s website, projecthearmeout.com. I spent four years in Nan Hua High School’s Symphonic Band, where I served as Section Leader of the Lower Winds before stepping down from the CCA to focus on my final-year work, and I’m working towards a career building technology that people genuinely enjoy using.

06 — What I Bring

How I Work

Three things I’d bring to any team, project or classroom.

01

Cross-Disciplinary Foundations

My background spans Physics, Visual Arts, music, and software — giving me both the analytical rigour and creative intuition to design systems that are not just functional, but beautiful.

02

Builder by Nature

From self-teaching Python and Java during Covid-19 to circuit exploration, photography and building a live website for a youth mental-wellness project, I don’t wait to be taught — I find ways to build, create, and investigate on my own.

03

Goal-Driven & Adaptable

I aim to gain deeper insights into the unseen world of electronics in code, and create software that solves real-world problems. My adaptability and drive let me pick up new tools quickly and see a project through.
